Chaos Clinic For 3/20/2026

This chart of GLD, a gold Exchange Traded Fund, has topped. It is similar to the
chart used in the 12/5/2025 Chaos Clinic. The natural grid has the same price levels,
but the time lines are a different set that timed the high.
Shown on the chart is an 8 by 8 up Chaos Clamshell. Since the high, the first
pullback was supported by the 50 day EXMA until this week, when a lower high
was followed by a sharp drop through both the 50 and 100 day EXMAs.
Prices are down two grid levels, a 25 per cent drop. As the EXMAs turn down,
lower prices are ahead. Trade at your risk.

3/20/2026 2:01:05 PM MT clb****:: The mutual fund managers often use MOC (market on close) orders to funnel retail investor money into markets the last 5 minutes of the day. It also gives the illusion of a new rally. It is better to see what the trend is next week. The market is oversold, but it doesn't mean it has to rally. Some of the largest market declines were when indicators were already oversold. It is usually more beneficial to wait for conformation, even if it means entering not at the bottom, or top. There is a lot of "noise" in markets.
3/20/2026 1:43:55 PM MT clb****:: Next week will give better conformation for support. Short covering at the end of the day often has the illusion of a new rally starting. It is just profit taking, and wanting to be flat over the weekend.
